Part G water calculations
Part G water calculations
We can provide you with the calculations required for compliance with Part G Regulation.
In order to compley with building regulations, new dwellings must not exceed a projected water consumption of 125 litres per person, per day (or 110l/p/d). However, most planning conditions now require a maximum of 105 l/p/d.
The predicted water consumption has to be calculated using the methodology set out in The Water Efficiency Calculator for new dwellings.
We provide standard specifications for all fittings and appliances and can advise you on the options you can choose.
Quick Turnaround: we aim to complete Part G water calculations within 3 working days.
VALUE – we offer very competitive prices and will quote you a fixed price with no additional extras and no hidden charges. We offer large discounts for multi-dwelling developments.
What affects the projected water consumption of a dwelling?
Factors affecting the calculated water consumption include:
The flushing capacity of WCs
The capacity of baths
The flow rate of showers and taps
The consumption per place setting of dishwashers
The consumption per kilogram of dry load for washing machines
The efficiency of water softeners (where present)
Any on-site rainwater and or greywater harvesting.
